Toyota replaced my faulty fuel pump in Ocala Florida (thx Deluca). Truck had around 18k miles.
Since replacing pump, my 4.6 V-8 is getting about 3.5 miles less per gallon than it did previously b4 new pump installed.
Anyone else had this issue???

BTW, the Toyota dealership said it has been a reported problem in other
Tundras that had fuel pump replaced. In both 4.6 and 5.7 engines.

I haven't seen anyone else post this problem.
Thx

It's been 3 weeks. The dealership said most just self correct. 4 days ago I filled up with gas, drove about 40 miles bt 45-60 mph. Mileage started getting better. Drove 50 miles next day, problem solved.
The Toyota dealer said they're having people complain...but most do correct, as mine did.

Average about 18.2. Went to over 20 mpg on highway.
Hallelujah!

I lost a little more than the 3.5 mpg and was told by Toyota service that it was not a problem. I just bought a Chevy because of Toyota service.

Average is down a bit in last few days, trust it will even out.
4.6 is a good motor, hope no more issues. Like Toyota, use to love them though.
Chevy, nope. Had my fill of their electrical, computer, transmission issues on 1500. Here 2500 a better vehicle.
