Looks great! Two questions for you.

1. Where did you get your bug shield and how much?

2. Have you thought about switching out the front grille with an all black one? With tinted windows, which looks great on white trucks and the nerf bars your getting (black?) would stand out from other Tundras. Just a thought. Keep the pics coming. Can't wait to see the rest. Oh yea, congrats on the wedding, I hope all went well. Did you drive off in the new truck is my last question? I guess I had more than 2 questions.....

I think chrome and white look really good so I will be getting chrome nerf bars. I am going to tint the windows eventually. I appriciate the thought about the black I actually never considered it until now it might actually loog great. thanks for the congrats on the wedding everything went good. Sweet, how much you pay for the visor? I ordered one from weathertech, hope it looks as good as that one! Cost $77.00. How's the ride after the 3" lift? I really like the stock ride i'm getting now, but would not mind a slightly rougher ride for a bad a$$ looking truck! Congrats!

Very important question coming from a current Dodge Ram 1500 owner. Does this kit create any vibration in 4wd. I just bought an 07 Dodge and I'm afraid to add a 2.5" leveling kit because it is causing vibration in 4wd. Seems to be a very cammon problem. My 04 Dodge didn't do this. Anyway, my first 2 trucks were Toys. I'm thinking its time to come back. Honestly. Let me know if you are having any problems with the lift. Thanks. :D P.S. Are you going to put some diggers on that truck? Post some pics if you do.:D

I installed it myself and no I have not had any problems and no vibrations from the 4wd. I am eventually going to through on some nice meats maybe even some new rims but monies tight so not for a little while.

This there a noticeable difference on how stiff your rear end rides compared to stock(hopping or jarring)?

Dealer Telling Me Cannot Lift Rear on 07 Tundra

Hello all,
I bought a new 07 Tundra Dbl Cab just recently and included 3" lift to close the deal. Dealer has lift contractor service outside and completed the lift on my new truck. But It turned out they only lifted the front wheels up 2" based on the gain from my measurement from ground up to fender with BFG 275/65R18 tires on. I remeasured the rear wheels and found out they didn't lift it at all. I complained to to dealer but my sale lady didn't seem to help at all and told me out of her control. At first they told me they did the lift but then I told them then why I didn't see the gain in height in the rear. I even complained to customer relation personel from that dealer. She investigated then called me back and told me that their contractor couldn't lift the rear due to the new design. I got a hold of another lift contractor from another dealer and they told me they were able to lift the rear but only up 1&1/2 inches using blocks. I am new to lift the truck and this is my first truck too. So if anyone out there know anything about this limitation to lift the rear wheels on new 07 Tundra then please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the info. Maybe you could tell the new wife that good tires on a truck are a match made in heaven. Just like you and her. They compliment each other and they'll get you out of a tight spot when you need them most. Good luck! Congrats on the marriage!

That looks awesome! You'll need the nerf bars for the little missus to get in and out of that hoss. What size tires will fit with that lift? 33's or 35's?

We reviewed this lift kit on Tundraheadquarters.com just this week. The install was pretty slick, but I'm impressed you did it yourself. I watched the install and took some pics and video, and I have to say I wouldn't want to try it without the use of a hydraulic lift.

Here's a link to the Tundra Lift Kit Installation pics and video we took.

Your truck looks great!

thanks guys! ya nerf bars re soon to come I think I might get black ones what do you think? doing the lift was actually pretty simple the hardest part was cracking the bolts that are tourqued to 150 ft lbs. theres a could parts where it helps if you have someone to give you a hand, exspecially whe doing the rear add a leaf. I found it easiest to do both sides at the same time. oh and I'm thinking about getting black rims anyone know what it would look like on a white truck?

Any chance you can get a picture of the CV boots? I would like to get an idea on the angle that they sit at to see if there is going to be wear issues with the boots down the road. Any rubbing on the ribs of the boots that you can see?
