I have a 2012 Tundra extra cab. Kept hearing a noise under truck when I was on highway going fast 60-70 mph. Well, I crawled under front of truck when I got home. Found that most of the plastic kaling screws and skid plate screws were missing or very loose. Anyway, I opened hood and looked where the grill would cover. There were missing plastic plugs on guard around radiator. Then I found missing plugs/fasteners on plastic in wheel wells. I have to order some and replace. Good thing I looked. Anyone else have this issue?? I replaced some of the missing screws with SS bolts/washers/& nylon nuts. They won't fall off! Always something! Everyone take a look under tuck when you get time. Now I have to find these parts!

I know you have to pull the skid plates on some for an oil change so someone might have left some of those off for future oil changes. And the plastic doohickeys that hold the plastic plates under my Honda S2000 seem to fall out on their own enough I bout 50 from Amazon a few years ago and have an ankle replacement supply.

Then you're lucky. Go to the repair shop and check. Are there any parts that need replacing?

I have the same issue, but it's more from a body shop that didn't take the time to put new ones on when they broke the old ones. However we have a local shop here that has those types of fittings so it isn't a big deal to run up and grab a few.
