Hello, I'm new to the forum. I have a 2010 tundra crewmax with 32k. I have a metal to metal grinding noise coming out of the rear when I turn to the left and right. I took the tire off last night and cleaned the pads, rotors and all the other rust off and I still have the issue. I've been reading about this dust shield touching the rotor and I've made sure its not. Is there anything that anyone can help me with? I don't think I new pads because there was still plenty of pad there. Any help would be great.

Thanks,
Anthony

Could be a rear wheel bearing, but my bet would be the dust shield. Just a small amount of rust buildup on the rotor below where the pad touches will do it because the dust shields are way too close.

Right now it only makes the metal on metal noise when I make turns. I really notice it when I'm making a sweeping turn going like 40. I can also replicate it when I'm driving straight and crank the wheel to the left or right.

I would get it to the dealership pronto.

Obviously I am assuming but a 2010 with 32K should still be under warranty.
