Hi Guys,

Just checking to see if the 'Maint Required" light that has been on the last 24 hours means simply an oil change, or some "real" type of maintenance is needed. Thanks so much! JT

Within 500 miles of your oil change the light will come on and go off. When you reach your mileage then it will stay on. Here's how to reset it:

Mine started to come on the other day also...
guess i gotta take her to get new oil & stuff...
would you guys recommend i take her to the dealer or to PepBoys? i've taken my other cars to pepboys and had good results, I buy the synthetic oil & watch them actually pour it in they kinda give me the stink eye.. but it's my $$
from what i've read the plugs are iridium, so they shouldnt need replacing for close to 100k miles right?

It could also indicate an inverting gas tank, meaning you can't get the full 26 gallons in when the truck reads empty.

I just picked up some oil today. Advanced Auto has 5 qts of mobile 1 and a filter for $33.
The chick at the counter said I was first person she's ever seen buy mobile 1. Huhh??

i don't know, i keep the 10K interval because the propane is a way cleaner fuel than gas, the oil comes out still having the same color and the dealer has tested it once to see if the oil was still in good condition, which was the case..!!
