I have a 2004 Toyota Tundra SR5 4.7L stock that drops the oil pressure way below the minimun mark when cruising at steady speed. If I take my foot off the pedal for a couple of seconds and allow the RPM (and speed) to drop a bit then the oil pressure starts to rise again, just to drop again If I get back to the crusing speed.

The oil pressure behave normal while city driving...

A week ago changed the oil and filter. Put 6.5Q of Quaker State 10W30 conventional oil with a Fram 1634 oil filter. No positive effect.

Any comment on this?

Well, for the amount of replies I would say that not many Tundras behave like ours... I am still looking for answers.... I let you know if I find anything about this low oil pressure problem...

Take care...
