I have a 2004 Toyota Tundra SR5 4.7L stock that drops the oil pressure way below the minimun mark when cruising at steady speed. If I take my foot off the pedal for a couple of seconds and allow the RPM (and speed) to drop a bit then the oil pressure starts to rise again, just to drop again If I get back to the crusing speed.

The oil pressure behave normal while city driving...

A week ago changed the oil and filter. Put 6.5Q of Quaker State 10W30 conventional oil with a Fram 1634 oil filter. No positive effect.

Any comment on this?

Man I wish I could help ya here, I am having a similar problem. Except my oil pressure seems to stay low until I cut off my truck and let her cool a bit. When I start her back up I have no problem.

If you can find out any info, please let me know! Thanks man and good luck.

Take care...
