The bushings in my Lower control arms are toasted. I know rock auto sells versions of "OEM" arms, but I suspect they are crap. I'm not going through the process of replacing just the bushings.

Does anyone have experience with control arms than genuine Toyota stuff?
Would I be dumb for getting anything other than stock ?

You can often find mint condition used take offs from the guys that upgrade to long travel suspension etc.
I've only used the factory LCA, so no experience with aftermarket ones

I can get the ACDelco lca for $135. I don’t know if it’s a quality part. I believe it should be considering it’s a delco, but there was a thread where a guy had bad luck with the moog arms. Moog used to be great....
Considering the price difference from OEM, I might try the Delco’s.

I haven’t seen anyone selling take-offs. Where would I look? eBay?

Years ago Brian Jowett told me how fast these bushings Fail. I’m just over 100k miles now and am pretty sure they have been giving me problems for 50% of that.

I might be better off with the Delco’s LOL.

edited because beer 🍺
