Found some LED light kits on Amazon from Classy Autos.

Installation was really easy. A screwdriver was all that was required. Very happy with the results!

Has anyone seen any issues with the other electrical systems on the truck since they have installed the LEDs? I know that on my Harley if I install the LED tail and turn signal bulbs I have to wire in a load equalizer other wise it screws with the security system. I skimmed through the posts and was just curious if it brought about anything weird since they pull less power.

Which if you think about it, less power consumed means the alternator won't be under load as often, instantly adding about 10HP and 3mpg right? Just like the old hot rodders, add more chrome to go fast!

What are you guys using for reverse, signal, and brake lights. The manual calls out 921's for turn signals, 3157KX for brake lights, and 7440 for the backup lights. I have seen some people using the 921's for backup lights, are they all interchangeable? Any input is greatly appreciated. I have a 2014. Sorry if I am beating a dead horse by asking.

Thank you, sir. Why is vleds so much more than other sites? I understand amazon being cheap, you're taking a chance there (even though all of my Amazon LEDs work great). Even superbrightleds.com is a fraction of the cost of vleds.com. Can anyone explain this?

921 are a bigger bulb, they do the cargo and reverse lights. 194 do the interior map and dome lights and license plate lights

I just ordered these. For $7 it's worth a try. Now I just want some white headlights. Then I will need white fogs too.

Has anyone seen the white lights that go in the amber running light spots? A guy came up behind me a few weeks ago and had white lights in that spot that turned yellow when he put the blinkers on. They were never off. White when just driving and then white/yellow/white/yellow when the blinker was on. Looked pretty nice. Must have been LEDs because they were nice and bright and very white.

Edit: This is what I am talking about. Anyone try these? They are a small projector but the aim or focus doesn't really matter as long as they are bright enough to see in daylight. Not sure about the reputation of this website. I'd like to find them on a legitimate site that I am confident won't compromise my info. What size fits the Tundra?

I just did the LED interior light upgrade on my 2013 Tundra Limited. At first I purchased the LED bulbs from Classy Autos just like the Op and also the VLED 6K footwell kit. After installing the VLED 6K footwell and the VLED 6K Vanity lights, the bulbs from Classy Autos look blue. So I replaced all the bulbs from Classy Autos with VLEDs 6K. Now they all match in color. The VLEDs are much more expensive and brighter but you get what you pay for. I also replaced my reverse lights with the VLED 6Ks as well and will be doing the Cargo lights shortly.

Here is a picture of the comparison between the VLED 6K and the Classy Auto bulbs in the first post. This was taken in the middle of the day outside. You can definitely see the difference in color. The Classy Auto bulbs come in a Zone Tech branded packaging and they are much better than the stock bulbs but not even close to the VLEDs.

If anyone wants my Classy Auto bulbs (10 of them) I'll make you a smokin deal.

Wow, that's quite a difference! I'm going to switch mine out too. Where did you get your VLEDs?

Just did my interior lights (need to do the vanity lights next) in blue and added the footwell LED's as well. Here are the links where I bought my bulbs and a couple of crappy pictures. I read multiple forum posts about installing the map lights and still managed to blow a fuse and almost push one of the connectors too far in, but got 'er done and like how it looks. The pictures don't do it justice.

Swapped my dome and map lights out for the blue LED's found on Amazon. They were a bit tricky to do. The only way I could get the map lights out was to remove the metal reflector unit. And of course in doing so, they bend a little and make it harder to fit back in correctly.

The dome lights went in much easier, but no way was the metal reflector piece going to fit afterwards. I used some tin snips and had to cut the holes bigger. you can't even tell though after doing so. See attached pictures of the final product.

I also swapped out the visor lights. Those were super easy and make a world of difference.

on the dome lights, put the reflector back in first - give a slight push and it will snap in. then put your new led bulbs in last

+1, I did not have to trim a thing to install the bulbs, although it is a snug fit.
