It depends on the horsepower, range, load and towing capacity, and price. If it meets or exceeds the 5.7 Tundra at a price close to the 5.7 then I'd consider one. I believe Toyota is working toward hybrids across the brand. I prefer that to all electric vehicles because they have limited range and take too long to charge.

If it's a plug-in hybrid with at least 40 miles electric-only range, then I will be very interested. Otherwise it's useless.

I was told yesterday that toyota is releasing a tundra hybrid. What are everyone's thoughts about it?
I tried to buy one in 2007 but they weren't making them yet. Were I buying one today, I'd go with hybrid and small V6 or large I4 engine. With those trannies, the requirement for horses is quite diminished. I no longer put large loads in the bed, anyway.
