Most of the answers here really solidify why I have a very hard time with some of the larger lifts. Cutting isn't easily reversible so to take off a quality large lift leaves a few scars. When I pay off my truck in several years I'm going to save up some dough and buy an Icon type lift. Good for me, easy to take off and get some cash back. I know what I do to my truck is for me only. It hurts in the end to see someone drive off with "MY" truck, it hurts more that they never have to pay for anything like I once did.

This is how I would look at it as a buyer. 37K for a 5 year old truck with nice mods, or 37K for a brand new stock truck with zero miles on it and a full warranty. I want the new one. If I am looking to mod something to take to shows, I will probably change it around and make it mine no matter what you have done to it. So I would probably rather find a stock used truck and modify it than pay a premium for what you did.

What I stated for mine is what I was told by a local dealer, which was then confirmed by looking at auction sites...

I did say 31-32 tops tho... Then again, I am not looking to sell mine so it's irrelevant. It just came about recently because my gf's bro sold his 11 ram laramie hemi, loaded, 18k miles... he got 25k, he didn't believe me when I said mine would be worth more than his in a few years lol.

I was in the market for a Tundra less than two months ago. If I wanted to spend $37k, I would've bought a new one. It's a very nice truck (though I'm not a fan of the plasticized grill look), but I think you'll have a tough time finding a buyer that is willing to give you even $30k.
Who knows, though? It only takes one....

If (and thats a big if) you want to believe what some new buyers are posting then used values are going deep into the tank. There was one OP claiming they got $6,000 off the truck then the dealer tossed in another $2,500 in accessories. If thats true then no way in the world is anyone going to sell a used truck for more than what a new one cost.

Besides, what a person thinks their truck is worth usually doesnt agree with the persons doing the buying. Like I said before, NADA or Kelly never bought a vehicle in there life.
