The rough country doesn't cut the crossmember for driveshaft clearance, which also doesn't drop the front diff as far so the axle angles are a little higher than the other. If you only want 4.5" and wont want to go any higher the rough country would be fine.

I think the BDS lifts are much more quality than Rough Country kits. They need some work to be a long term kit ultimately.

BDS also has a "no bullshit" warranty if you were to break anything. They stand behind their products well.

If you have a 2wd and mainly drive on the street, the Rough Country would be just fine.

Otherwise, I'd go BDS because at that point you have the option to go to the 7" lift later for not much more money.

Also check into the Zone 5" kit. Apparently same as the BDS kits but without the name.

Thanks for the info. So do you think the Zone kit is better than the Rough Country? They're just about the same price. Although the Zone is another half inch taller and that may be getting a bit on the tall side for me.
