You would have to cut a 3" kit down to the amount of lift you want and buy shorter bolts to match. It will be a headache. The bumper brackets will not work, possibly you can modify them or fabricate some. The rear bumper should be fairly easy. Not sure about the front. If you figure out what increments you can move the front bumper and cut your lift blocks accordingly you may make it work.
Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with a body lift. IMHO go for the full 3" or forget it. Its just not worth the cost, labor and headache for another 1"-1 1/2".
Check out Coachbuilder's link on the Shims he makes...or just PM him. He makes shims for the front that will give you 1" with two shims and blocks in back are easy too. Not too bad oin price either. 4 Shims cost me $70.74 shipped.
