I have a 2021 Tundra and I’m Trying to hook up the brake light on my shell. I am tying into brake wires. I have three wires white, blue and green. I tested and found the blue wire is the one i should connect to. The shell light lit up once but no more. I put a self tapping screw in for the ground. The fuses are good any suggestions?

This has been on my to do list for quite a while. Easiest two ways would be to either tap in to the tail light wiring via T-taps or the trailer harness. I believe you can even get an adapter for the 4 flat harness. If you have an auxiliary light inside the cap, that will need a separate fused power from the fuse box, battery, or even the 7 pin trailer harness if you feel so inclined (I would choose the other routes) and a switch somewhere to turn it on and off.

My harness on the shell is a little chewed up so I plan on fitting a new four pin harness to it (tail light, stop light, ground, power).
