Recently installed the hooke road roof rack on my trd crewmax. $350, easy instructions, low profile, 8 led lights, holds 300#.

Have gotten the same rack. How tricky was the installation?
It was easy once I got over having to drill holes in the roof! You will need a rivnut gun and rivnuts & a really good sealant. I recommend vulkem

Thanks:
1) Did you end up drilling a starter hole first?
2) At what point do you put the sealant in? (Directions don't detail this very well)
3) About how long did it take you? (I'll have a couple of guys helping me out so want to let them know an estimate)
4) Have you had to do anything to cut down on wind noise?
I used a step bit for holes, put vulkem in the hole on the rivnut, on the bolt, over the bolt. Took about 4 hrs but have not yet wired the lights. The 4 front lights somehow helped reduce wind noise
