I don't know the specifics but many states have a law that you can only have 4 white lights on at any given time on the road. Hence the reason the fogs turn off when the high beams turn on. So you may want to check the legality of having white LEDs on the front.
That said, I have 8 lights on when my high beams are turned on. No ticket yet. *knock on wood*
