Brand new 2012 Platinum. Home link will not program to one specific door opener. Looking for help.
1. Used Owner's Manual to program two of three door openers, but unable to program third (all units about 12 yrs old). All units are rolling code type. Two are Python and one is Legacy. Actually, Legacy is the oldest by a couple months. Was able to program the two Pythons, but not the Legacy.
2. Called Home Link on the phone and worked with them for about two hours trying everything they suggested. This included clearing out memory of the truck, and all door closers. Nothing changed.
3. Called Overhead Garage Door and they sent out a repairman. Worked with him for a couple hours, basically doing the things that had been done with Home Link. Still the same results.
4. Through testing we've been able to eliminate a problem with the specific button on the truck; however, I have three oher vehicles (one with Home Link), and they can be programmed to all three units.
5. It appears that the door receiver is working, but not seeing this particular signal from the truck. At least the truck is able to communicate with the other two openers.
Anyone had a problem like this?
