So last Sat I was the victim of a hit and run. Luckly had several witnesses and a guy who followed the 71 year old prick and got his Lic #.

So not a hard hit but enough I need a new bumper and the center plastic peice. Truck is the SR5 with chrome bumper but really want to color match it so maybe powdercoat it when I get a new one? (originally was thinking of an NFab or Smittybuilt but dont think insurance will be enough to get one. So maybe PC the new chrome bumper white then add a NFab light bar???

Open to opinions so lets hear em.

Maybe somebody knows about what it costs to have the new bumper replaced?

I would but everything I have read is its not just a simple swap of bumpers. Different bracketry.

Toyota parts are expensive. The price for the replacement bumper should be comparable to a cheaper heavy-duty bumper. Check the price. If the insurance co just give a check, I would try to get a after-market bumper.

I will just have a check cut to me from the body shop. My dad has been a employee at this shop for over 30 years.
I will go aftermarket if the bill is enough to do so.
