is the TRD Pro really worth the extra$
upgrading a lower model to a TRD Pro - is it worth it?

i'm upgrading from '88 4x4 Pickup daily driver,
the family vehicle is a 2011 v6 Rav4, which gets the towing duties now, not ideal...

primary uses will be...
daily driving (60%)
home depot runs / pulling rental equipment(30%)
off-roading with the family, backcountry camping (%10)

hopefully all the HD projects will get done and the back country camping % will go up significantly.

The main advantage of getting a TRD Pro vs a different model and adding on the Pro stuff.... is the TRD Pro has that awesome ‘TRD Pro’ logo stamped into the side of the bed. I might have to try to replace the bed side panels on my TRD Faux.

re: the stamped in TRD Pro, i think you could get really good results with a hammer and a cold chisel, maybe a bit of sharpie to outline the work area first. totally doable!! or maybe just build up all the other areas with bondo?
