Heated windshield

I have a 2007 dc ltd tundra, the salesman claimed that it has a heated windshield as well as heated washer fluid reservoir, all this to avoid wiper blades freezing to the window. my question is does the heater in the windshield come on automatically or when you select a certain heater function???I can't seem to find anything in the owners manual regarding operation of this feature.

The button right below your defrost button...operates the heated mirrors and the windshield.

On the 2008 models both the DC/CM has the de-icer grid for the windshield look here and see for your self. http://www.toyota.com/tundra/options_dcab.html.

The button that activates the mirror defrost is the same one that activates the de-icer grid.

My 2007 DC has the De-icer grid and mirror heaters, (Cold weather pkg). And I'm in FL! ???
