I am considering taking my front and rear bumpers off to get them powder coated.. my question is for the front bumper.

Can I take the bumper off and still drive the truck for ~a week while the bumpers are getting PCd? Or are there going to be too many plastics/fenders/wires hanging and moving around for that to be an option?

I have to get on the highway to get to and from work, so it will need to be able to withstand 70+ mph.

Having removed mine I don't think you will have any problems with it being drivable. I would however be concerned about getting a hefty ticket for operating on the roadway without a bumper, especially the front bumper.
Good point.. didnt think about that. (I will probably still risk it)

Yeah I am more concerned with things I might expose to more wind by removing the chrome bumper.. I might be wrong but In my mind there would be plastics and things like that getting effected.

Guess Ill just have to dive into it. Anyone have a bumper removal sticky?
