I am kinda stuck on the next step for removing the front axle so I can get to the front differential seal. I don't have 4 bolts on the bottom of the steering knuckle to create space to allow me to pull the axle forward and then take it out of the differential. The other thing I wanted to know is can you remove the 4 mounting bolts on the bearing and pull the hub off the axle to allow for removal of the axle. Or do you have to disconnect the lower ball joint to create the room. I will get some pics if this is confusing. This is a 2012 Toyota Tundra 5.7L 4x4

Here is some photos of what I am talking about

Can I pull the front axle out by loosing the 4 bolts and pulling off the hub with a puller?
or

Do I lower the lower control arm ball joint to create space to move the axle out

There is no 4 bolts on the lower half to separate the lower control arm off

1)Remove the two bolts on the bottom of the steering knuckle.
2)use punch and hammer to remove axle from steering knuckle and wire tie knuckle out of the way
3) A good yank will remove axle from the diff

* download the FSM, it has pics and tells you how to do it.
