I was running pretty close with this Ferrari then we ran into traffic. He tried to leave me but I stayed right with him.

I'm considering getting the SC for my '14 and wanted to hear your experiences about driving in the snow. I use my truck mainly during the winter for driving in the snow but I do like to joyride every now and then year round. I asked the parts manager his thoughts about driving in the snow with the charger and he said I'd be spinning my tires a lot. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dude if you have the money for a supercharger you have to money for a set of WINTER/SNOW TIRES and if you have enough still get your self a extra set of wheels to mount them on it will be a night&day difference I own a tire store in New Jersey and we sell the most winter tires out of any single shop in the tri state area all by word of mouth
Check out Bridgestone and Dunlop

I had to use 4WD a lot last winter. I also had 600lbs of sand in the bed. The BFGs that came on my rock warrior weren't that great in the snow. I am going to try to make them last through this winter since I want to get a new wheel/tire setup for spring.

Thanks for your constructive answer, William. I will definitely put sand in the back for the extra traction. I know there will be an adjustment period with the supercharger in which I will have to learn the new limits of the truck. Do you find yourself overly cautious in the snow despite the cruddy BFG's? I have the Michelin's that came with the TRD package and last winter they were very good. Lord knows I had plenty of opportunity to test them out. I had Firestone Destination A/T's on my '08 Tundra and those were fantastic in the snow. I'd put the Michelin's on par with them. I don't drive like an animal in the snow anyway but 500+hp is going to be real interesting in a foot of snow. If you're not careful 4WD can get you stuck 4 times as worse.

Thanks again for your help.
