***UPDATE*** Finally ready to lift again need opinions on setup I want to run.
So I have been gathering parts for the last couple months and have come to a fork in the road. I am wanting to go 7" on my tundra and until today thought bds was the way I was going to go. After reading a little it has come to my attention that the zone 5" is the same minus the front spacers and shorter rear blocks. This is where my question comes in. I have already purchased the 7" icons front and rear along with camburg uca's. Would I be better of getting the zone kit and save some money over the bds? My plan is to also buy a rear 4.5" leaf pack. So basically I wouldnt be using much of the bds kit to get to 7". Have I answered my own ? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks
*UPDATE*
ZONE 5" TO 7"
TOYO OC MTS 37X13.50X18
KMC XD ADDICTS 18X9 -12
Almost done. Can't decide if I like the flares or not. I think I am split 60/40 in favor of no flares.
I have the skyjacker 4.5" leaf springs on my 7" BDS lift they def are nice and cushy also check out King Coilovers. I use to have ICONS then switched to Kings the King coilovers are actually longer so you could easily get about 8" out of your BDS lift
I believe the Zone kit is the same thing as the BDS kit minus the skid plat if thats the case then you should be GTG to install the Icons and do what you want to do. When I did my BDS kit i only bought the bare nescessities since i told them i would be running coilovers and rear shocks so it save me some coin
