I have been thinking about upgrading my 2002 Limited, 4.7L, exhaust system - namely the muffler. I no longer have a vernier caliper to measure the inlet and outlet size of my current stock exhaust at the muffler. Does anyone know what these stock measurements are?:scratchhead:

2 3/8”

If you replace the muffler with 2 1/2” while leaving as much of the stock piping in place, you shouldn’t lose low end torque as long as the muffler is correctly designed.

Please give a call for further explanation. 760-877-4234

Thanks for the mention!!
