Sooo just tried to wire up a backup camera. Forgot to disconnect the battery and dropped the 12v negative wire that was connected to the radio onto the frame of the radio. Little sparks and now my ignition won’t stop beeping when the key is in it even when the vehicle is in drive. Air controls do not work and gage cluster does not function. Only has lights. How the heck to I track this problem down?

I'd start by checking the fuses -- under the dash There are a couple of banks of them, such as under the dash, driver's side, and under the hood in a covered box near the battery.

I would start by disconnecting the battery, take a jumper wire and run it between the two disconnected cables for a few minutes. Reconnect the battery and start it up. This is a reboot of the computers and fixes the type of issues you are having many times.
