I have a 2013 toyota tundra base truck with the 4.6L engine. I took my stock pipes off and install the flow master thunder series(dual in/dual out) . I was then introduced to the "Drone". I took the flow master off and put a 14" magnaflow which I was told would reduce the drone.......Wrong!!! I have done some research and come to realize that the 4.6L engine does not have the exhaust volume to satisfy the 2-1/2 inch pipes and muffler that I have on the truck.
I came across Keith's site (Dirty Deed) and has anyone use the true dual system with the resonators and had success with the 4.6L. Keith's comes highly recommended on a lot of the forums that I have read.

Have a glasspack welded before the mufflers. That will get rid of rasp and drone.
That will put some restriction in there.

I have also cut pipes and put a flange in 3" exhaust with a 2.5" spacer in between.
