2010 Tundra Limited. Driving light/turn signal burned out. Replaced with new build. There was some discoloration on the plug. I thought it probably got hot. Put a new bulb in and it burned out in 48 hours. Replaced again today. Any ideas what caused the problem?

For what it's worth, I'm going through the same thing. At two and half years old, the front driver's side driving light/turn signal light went out. I replaced it. Then the same light went out four months later, and I replaced it. Now it's out again after less than a month. WTF?

Any input or suggestions on how to prevent this or what might be causing it are appreciated.

What I did was use a small flat screwdriver and bent the prongs in the plug out. Appears the bulb previously would slip out with vibration signaling a burned out lamp. Now it is well seated and works.
