It has to be true, it's on the internet.well according to the website etc they say it will give you 10% better fuel economy and I just wanted to know if anyone has used these and had the same results?
Because people buy them or consider buying them. They're great for keeping the bugs off the front of your trailer thoughlol then why even have them??? lol

Yep...when you are moving down the highway the way wind moves is it flows over the lines of the truck then flows DOWN after it moves over an obstruction. If it flows over the cab it goes down towards the bed as soon as it reaches the back of it then creates a sort of vortex in the bed, flowing from there to the tailgate, then bouncing off the tailgate and coming back towards the rear of the cab. If you notice if you were to drive down the highway with a closed tailgate, debris in the bed, and the rear window all the way down, the debris will probably end up floating into the back of the cab for this reason. This is usually how I find out some douchebag threw trash in the back of my truck.Pic's not working for me but if you're referring to the roof mount air deflector it won't help unless it's within a foot or two of the trailer. Really only helps for 5th wheels. A bumper pull will be 8+ feet behind the deflector so the air flow will go over the deflector and then drop and eddy in the space between, likely making your mpg worse. Even if you were able to manage a slight increase in mpgs it would take a long time to offset the cost of the deflector.
