Just curious if anyone knows if/how to disable the auto lock on the tailgate. First time with tailgate that locks with the door. I’ve had at least 10 instances where I went to put something in/get out of my bed and it was locked. Had to go back inside and get my keys. I’ve got a hard cover that latches. Would rather lock my bed when there’s actually something in there to secure. Thanks

If you want to permanently stop it you can disconnect the wiring. Pop open the tailgate and disconnect the connection. There may also be a connector under the bumper.

Yeah, could do that. Was hoping there was some button sequence on the FOB. But I’ll keep googling and reply here if I find anything.

There isn't on the fob. I can assure you.
