I'm thinking about getting my bumper powder coated or possibly painted. And my chrome grill surround painted. All of this would be done at a shop, and I'm just wondering what kind of luck everyone has had with all of these options. Durability and color match are my main concerns.

When I had my 07 I had the chrome grille color matched black at my friends body shop. I was going to have a clear bra applied but never go around to it.... well before I sold the truck the grille already had started to chip from rocks. I say get an OEM color matched grille from a Rock Warrior.

I think the bumper will be fine if powdercoated, not painted though. It's just hard to color match powder coat.

Yeah that's kinda what I figured I'm thinking if I get a "color matched" grill off eBay then have it painted color match that might be a cheaper alternative.
