I came across a pretty nice safe on eBay, and i think its the factory oem one? It turns half the console into a safe and keeps the other half open abs with a tray. It was a little expensive, so i was just seeing if there are any other suggested half options like that anywhere else?

i just bought a lockerdown console safe for my 2016. Its legit and heavy. My dad just ordered one for his 2013 too. They are extremely secure and made in the USA. ordered mine on a Tuesday and had it waiting at my house on Friday.

I understand the OP wanting to retain some of the console area open, but I have to concur with @StormTrooperRW

Having the full size vault has a lot of perks.
For one, the wife's purse fits in it along with my other stuff.
I highly recommend the Combi-Cam E Electronic Lock.
I can open mine in a couple seconds without looking at it.

Unfortunately they seem to be out of stock on the 14&^

If interested give them a call to see when they will have more.
Great customer service.

More info on the vault.

Added magnets to mine.

Is the Locker down safe still the best vault for the Tundra?

As far as I know.
I'd buy one if I needed it.
It encases the entire console, top, walls, floor.
I'd recommend the electronic keypad lock over a keyed or manual combination lock.

Looks like it will be 429.00 for the safe and electronic lock for my 2013. I emailed them to see if they offer a military discount. This is the new lock that they offer. Lock'er Down Horizonal Electronic Lock

I bought the tuffy console safe. Way cheaper and I actually like the design better than the lockerdown. It leaves about 4 inches of space above it so you could still use a console tray if you wanted to. It’s mainly only a reinforced lid with no sides or bottom. Would take quite a bit to get into it still and is good enough for me. I bought the combo lock to go with it and am very happy with it.
