I'm a big fan of the hard copy service manuals, but it seems that Toyota went to digital in 2014.

I received my title to my 2008 Tundra today at my p.o. box, and it is officially titled in my name with a new license plate, so it's like a new birthday for my Tundra!

For my Tundra's birthday, I got it a set of these service manuals.I am not posting the link to eBay, but they're not cheap. For the DIY type I am, I feel they're mandatory, and have had good experiences with '92 Previa manuals in the past, and the Toyota parts. I plan to use all OEM parts on my Tundra.

Any thoughts from you guys? Do you use the service manuals? Do you agree, using the correct year is the only set that makes sense?

I got the manuals yesterday and today. Each volume actually has 2 manuals, a X, and Xa, so there's really 12 manuals not 6. This is a massive amount of manuals...and it's less than $50/each. Yesterday I only got 2 manuals, and contacted the seller, they said there were 2 boxes that shipped, and the small one got there. Each manual is about 250-300 pages each.

I feel like I got my money's worth.
