Good Morning,

I ordered a replacement set of rear brake pad for my 07 Crewmax from Rockauto last week. When I opened to box all it contains is the pads and a small package of lube. My question is there were no replacement clips that sit at the ends of the pads like the current pads installed? The pads I ordered are the Bosch Quietcast in hopes that the noisy rear brakes we are familiar with. Does the Bosch pads not require the clips like the current pads or do I need to purchase the clips separately? I would think Bosch would included everything needed for replacement especially since they included the lube. Any thoughts would be appreciated. I plan on installing the pads after I get home this evening.

You don't need the clips unless the ones you have are broke. The OEM clips are better than anything I've ever seen as a replacement. Clean them good and reuse them.

The noise is squeaky brakes. They work fine but squeak like no truck I have ever had.

The clips are not squeaking.
