I recently moved to a ski town in Colorado and I was wondering if anyone has insight on how the KM2's perform in the snow. The roads are generally plowed, but there are a few highway canyons that tend to preserve the ice. Any ideas?

Probably pretty crappy on the ice. No siping. Generally mud tires suck on ice, but are ok in deeper snow. As long as there isn't ice. So generally they suck in winter.

Increased suckiness in the winter months, got it. I see that folks have sipped the tires with some success.
maybe... but who the hell wants to sipe their own tires? this is an easy answer and seems even more obvious based on where you live. you're a candidate for a shiny set of winter tires, studded ones if you want to do it right the first time.
