I’m gearing up to add a flip style key and fob combo to my Tundra and my Highlander. Where is the best place to have a Toyota blank cut?

You can have it cut anywhere that cuts keys like your local hardware store, but you will have to program it. Usually a dealer, some locksmiths, or do it yourself with Techstream.

I have Techstream and the cable, but I am just nervous about handing someone a $40 key and it not getting cut right. I have seen that Homedepot has automatic machines. Can those cut Toyota key patterns?

Not many brick and mortar locksmiths these days. At least not in my area. Just went by Homedepot and their machine will not cut Toyota keys. Going to try Lowe’s and Ace.

I went to Lowe’s and they cut it my flip key for free! No issues!
