My '08 DC has the "auto-down" power window button for the driver's window; anyone know if I can change out a switch to get one with auto-down AND auto-up? My wife's car has auto-up and it's a creature comfort that I've come to love.
If that's possible, is it possible to change out the passenger one too?
It is more than just a switch change.
You'd need to change the motor and the switches.
I know in my 2014 there are different motors for auto up/down and just auto down.
2008
I don't think 2008 Tundras had auto up/down at all.
They don't show different motor parts numbers like my 2014 does.
Mine definitely has auto down, which is why I was thinking it was possible. You might be right about the motor change though...at anywhere near $700 it's definitely not worth it to me.
My '11 has auto down too, but manual up and full manual on all other doors. There are aftermarket boxes like this one here that piggy back on each door.
This link doesn't work anymore - would you mind updating it please?
