So I guess when I made my trip to Utah a few months ago in the snow, I must have bumped the underside of the truck in a snow pile or something. But my engine cover now has a slight dent. See attached pic.

Anyone else who has had the same problem before? How can I fix this for least amount? I am more concerned about the slight rust that has happened because of the chipped paint at the dent.

any tips or advice would be highly appreciated. Thank you.

Take it off and pound it out then plasti dip it

No I haven't fixed it yet. But thanks. I'll enquire. I figure shipping would be too high considering how heavy it is.

not sure if I wanna leave it off.. it really does protect the vital parts.
can't imagine my engine or something else taking that kinda blow.

Remove it, then jump on it a few times. Should be good again.

There should be 8 bolts in total.

If you fall and hit your head while jumping on it, I am not responsible.
