Northern California here. Original owner of a 2018 Platinum 4WD Crewmax and have about 25k on it, great truck. It‘s my fourth Toyota truck, and first Tundra. Appreciate all the informative posts, particularly with regards to towing as I’m researching appropriate sized travel trailers...

just got my 2021 1794 tundra and frankly a little disappointed
, can’t believe how far Toyota is outdated in comfort and technology. Got rid of my 2018 Chevy high country at 110,000 miles for the tundra, only for the historic reliability. my max payload is 1220 lbs?? Max tow 7200 lbs?. For a big truck it sure is a lite weight..
by the Time I fill up the 38 gallon tank load up a little gear and wife with my new camper shell, am almost maxed out.
Had also planned on pulling my 27’ Airstream all over this great country...not sure if that’s going to happen now.
and what is up with that low roar from the motor at 35-45 mph??
Only good thing is I didn’t have to pay for the truck.. it was my gold watch after retiring with the same company for 45 years... I guess being an old man am getting cranky!
