Another lift kit thread

So I have finally decided that I want to do a lift on my truck and not a leveling kit. I'm looking at the rough county 6" and the bds 7", now I know everyone will say if you can afford it do the bds kit. Well I'm not a rich person so the extra $700 buck for the bds over the Rc is a lot of money. So my question to everyone is the Rc a bad kit and should I stay clear of it. Should I save money for another few months and do the bds kit. I spoke to a few shops locally in my area that do lift kits on trucks and about half said to go with the bds kit (mostly the shops that are dealers for bds) The other half said they have installed Rc kits for many years and have never had a problem and never an issue with the cv axle, they also so that people online that put down the Rc kit are just trying to justify spending the extra money they did for their bds kit. All input is welcome, a side note is that my truck is only drivin on the roads and never has or every will be used off road. Only do a lift and kmc monster wheels for looks. Thanks

Your question was answered in your question :D

Look into the zone 5" and bds shim for a total of 7" lift. Costs about the same as the rc, and an inch higher.
I thought about that but honestly I'm not very mechanical and would like to have it all done with the same kit and all at once.

Sorry if I went on and on in my original post and was a little confusing. I would like to hear from the Rc lift crowd if they are happy with their lift or wish they would of spent the extra money and went with the bds or a diff kit.

No offroad, ever? Just for looks? *Heart hurting*
