Airbags alternative??

I have the firestone airbags on my tundra but I really don't like the design of it. Is there any other alternatives besides the airbags to level the truck when towing about 6000-7000lb?

The air bags shouldnt be used to help level the truck unless it is to put it back where it was before loading it.

Meaning unloaded, if you want the truck level it should be done with, block, add a leaf, extended shackle or a replacement spring pack and the bags set at 5 psi. Any more than that and it will ride harsh.

You have a 6" procomp on a crew max, as built with the lift they never sit level as it was designed on a double cab. I would start with an extended shackle. You may have to get a spacer for the air bag to get it to sit right with the extra lift.

Truck sits level when it's unloaded. I put airbags on it to help with the sagging when pulling my trailer. I have extension brackets made for it so the part rest on the rear axle is unchanged.

i have to Hellwig bags on mine, they sit differently than the other kits out there. The bump stop stays intact. I have been very happy with them

The only other option to keep the truck level when towing is to have rake when it is unloaded

I was hoping something like the WDH will be a good alternative

A WDH will work to level your truck while towing if the tongue weight isn't too much. Up to about 700 lbs the hitch will do the job. More than that and you will need to help with some other means. What don't you like about the air bags?

Anything over 5k should have a wd hitch regardless

Sway control is a good idea as well for large and/or heavy trailer towing.

Can anyone suggest a good WDH with sway control setup and where to buy one?
