Hi everyone. I'm looking at buying a truck again after a long time of owning a car. This will be my first Tundra. The 2010-13 crewmax seems to be what will fit my budget. On these trucks, is there anything I need to look out for when buying used? Trying to stay at 60k miles or less. I like the 5.7 SR5 with bucket seats.

Also wanted some advice on pricing. '10-13 CM seems to be listed for $28-30k here regardless of package. Is there much wiggle room or are these prices on point? Seems like a '17 SR5 upgrade can be had for $32.5k. Doesn't seem like a big difference in price to buy used.

A couple examples

Thanks for the advice!

FWIW, MY 2010 CM RW that I traded in dec of last year for $24k plus an additional 1k off invoice, super clean, leveled, modded all around... It sold for $25800.

50k miles.

Look around, you can find a deal. The person who bought mine did. It was KBB at $28-30k all day retail.

But in actuality, if you are in the near 30k price range, you should just buy new. Even if it is new with less bells and whistles, buy new.

Or wait till August/Sept when the new year should start making prices and discounts pop, and buy new then. Maybe get 0%, and cash back like I did in 2010...

My budget is actually more like $24-26k, so I was more curious if I could get something in that range. It sounds like yes, but will take time which is fine. I don't need or want anything really modded, lifted, etc.

If fine going low frills new. All I really want is bucket seats. Even at 32k, it would be stretching my budget though.

Well I joined the club! Ended up getting a 2014 white 1794. I got it for a steal and while I'm not in love with the 1794 interior, it is growing on me. It also has about every option I could ask for.
