I installed a new radio and ever since I hear this weird clicking noise. it sounds like the valve that switches the air to different vents is getting stuck and retrying. Twice ive gotten in the car and the air only goes out the defrost vents and then miraculously fixes itself. obviously i screwed sonthing up, where's the valve located?

Just a guess here - I do not think you messed a valve up - my guess is you have a loose vacumn line going to one of the actuators that open and close the doors.

where would i look to check on the vacuum lines?

If the Tundra does have vacumn controlling the actuators look under the stereo you messed with on the back of the HVAC controls

that panel is the first place i checked, just wire harnesses and no apparent issues. only place i havent checked that i removed previously is directly behind the new radio.
