And it is not just the drivers door sill.....it is all 4. I will try to get photos on here too. Has anyone ever had to deal with toyota and their paint warranty?

Pictures ? Maybe some other Canadians can help ya out..... I'm assuming you don't have door sill protectors. Possible you scratched up the paint getting in and out and now you got rust ?

Wow. Never seen that before.
Get it back to the dealer and raise some sh!t. Should NOT be doing that after only 8 months.

Ummm ya it has been washed and waxed a few times and regardless this is inside the truck and not exposed to the elements like the outside of the truck is. And the outside isn't rusted like that.

It's rusting because the paint on the sills got scratched off, then it sat covered in salt for months. You only have yourself to blame if you don't take care of your truck.
Touch up the paint, buy some will protectors and keep it clean.

So you are telling me my entire truck should be covered in rust right now. I need to wash my truck everytime I drive it? Give me a break. And because I didn't wash my sill for a couple weeks that why...okay??? And there is absolutely no scratches on the sill either (as the photos show) definitely not right to the steel to cause it to start rusting

Looking at your pictures, the inside of your truck is very much being exposed to the elements...

Lol seems like every one is trolling these days haha. I didn't see any scratches only rust spots and bubbled paint.... Def something wrong with the paint or some thing there. Take it to the dealer, but Clean up the truck as best you can before going. Don't give them any reason to pin the blame on you. Good luck

Ouch.... No matter how it happened, it needs to be touched up and protected. If the sill looks like that I would have the underside of the truck rust proofed and undercoated again. I did that last Aug because the Tundra gets driven a ton in IL..... They love their salt there... (The bubbling paint is defiantly worrisome. Go to the Dealer!!)

Mine have been cover for some time now...

This is the passenger side rear but they are sill savers!! Having a 3 yr old that climbs in and out is dangerous.
