I need to replace tires in the next few months and am debating 6 ply vs 10 ply. When I tow the camper (4200 lbs), the payload is maxed out. I'm debating ride quality vs load. Any input?
IMO, the tire size (sidewall height, overall width) has more to do with ride and drive quality than the ply rating, in combination with the suspension/shocks. Personally, I prefer the 10-ply rated sidewall, especially if towing often.
