Wonder how much it costs to bore our engines to 6.2L and get all those steel rods, cams, crankshaft and forged pistons?? ME WANT!!

It says in one of the updates that he's working on a spare engine. I hope they won't need it and sell it in the end on eBay or something :p

hay 1 bad toy here and I was wondering where you got your head gaskets made we built this 6.2 we put it in and ran it but have a little water coming out of head gasket ?? any thing you can help me on this issue !!!!
Check the sleeves as some are known to leak coolant fluid if installed incorrectly. Also, you will need custom head gaskets which will run you about $2000 depending on the shop.

did have to get some made ?? h]and where was it ??? $$$ not a problem
Maybe lol. I know this sounds stupid, but the person who was working on my build (Chris) says he did order them and they're at the machine shop with my 6.2L block. I personally never saw it or the block for that matter. He was supposed to order it from Dynosty but when I talked to them they told me he never did. When I asked Chris about it, he said he had them made at another place for less money ($2100).

Dynosty can make them for you but I'm not sure for how much. It would take about 6-8 weeks.

will what my builder did is make a fixture and bored them there self I think the crashed them in the process
They probably lost a lot of their durability and caused the leak.

I have never had luck altering head gaskets, they always leaked. It is best as @BRX stated to get ones made.

@BRX, totally spaced the fuel pump model. Did you still need it?
@mdl My friend ordered one already. Wouldn't hurt to have it as a reference. Thanks.

His latest 3UR build. If anyone knows a way to contact this guy let me know. I've been trying to for years and I just sent an email to Accufab where he works. I need that intake manifold and throttle body so badly.

Pretty impressive. Would love to see some dyno numbers on this.
The turbos he mentioned are rated at 1600HP. If he's using two of them then its probably around +2500HP. He built Chris Rado's engine a few years back and it was supposedly making 2500HP. There is an AC compressor on this one so it most likely will be installed in a street car. SEMA 2016???
