First my apologies if this is posted elsewhere, but searching this forum for the last 45 minutes has not produced any results for this problem. I recently purchased an '05 SR5 TRD with 64K miles. Surprisingly the service history came with the truck. Nice surprise when I opened the glove box. Now to the problem. I was returning home this evening form visiting our sons and after turning from the main highway I was on (65 mph w/ cruise) I was on a secondary road (55mph w/cruise) after crossing a set of railroad tracks I happened to look down at the dash and the 4WHi light was on. Looked over at the button and the back light was on but the button was not depressed. Pulled over, stopped, cycled the button dash light and button light went out. Drove approx. 1 mile lights back on. Pulled over cycled button lights out. Drove again approx. 1 mile lights back on. Pulled over cycled button lights out. Started down the road again paying a little more attention to things, at 60 mph 4WD Hi light came back on. Pulled over cycled button light out. Has anyone seen this problem. Any clues what to look for. Weather is clear and dry, no rain, no puddles. Thanks for any suggestions.

Final update. On my way to work on 3/20/2013 the railroad tracks got me again. Since then nothing. I'm monitoring when on rough roads but this hasn't happened anymore. I did have the A/C bezel out recently and a switch connection may be loose. I have to go back in and replace some burned out bulbs. I will second check all connections then. Thanks for your response.
