I am currently living in Fairbanks Alaska and during last winter I had to essentially drive in 4x4 4H all the time due to slipping and not any traction. This is thankfully my last winter but i wanted to make sure that i was good to do it. A lot of buddies buddies said that I was fine as long as I don't go over a certain speed but I just wanted to make sure. I have a 2015 tundra 1794.

That jumpy thing is bad. That is your drive line binding, and if that happens enough you will brake something.

When That happens, you have enough traction and dont need 4x4.
