So here is the issue... Some how my 4.7 motor got water in it and now the #1 cylinder is not firing and there are some other problems as well and now it would be cheaper to just get a new motor. The truck is a 2008 and has the 5 speed tranny so I know i would have to purchase the six speed but how hard would it be to swap from the 4.7 to the 5.7?

I don't know for sure, but I imagine you'd need a new ecu as well

Thank you guys. Ill prolly just sell it, pay off the loan, and get something else if the insurance doesn't cover it.
