Just got my alarm activated at the Toyota dealership today. For one price ($51.00), they hook up the Techstream and modify as many settings as I want.
I handed them a copy of how to activate the alarm (from TS) in case they didn't know how. Also had them change seat belt alarms, disabled the automatic door locking when driving past 12 mph, and few other things.
The alternative is order a special adapter online for $35, download the pirated version of Techstream, and then hope it works on my laptop. Let's not forget dicking with it for a couple hours too. Nope, $51.00 to have it done without any headaches is great!
